Carol Higgins Clark was an American actress and bestselling author of mystery novels. She was the daughter of international and New York Times bestselling author, Mary Higgins Clark. Carol is best known for writing the Regan Reilly mystery series. She has also co-authored some books with her late mother.
Clark was born in New York, she attended Mount Holyoke College, where she graduated with a B. A degree, and studied acting at the Beverly Hills Playhouse.
Even though she wanted to be an actress, she starred in films such as “Who Killed Amy Lang” and “A Cry in the Night”, Carol developed a passion for writing while re-typing her mother’s transcripts. She is a recipient of AudioFile’s Earphones Award of Excellence for her reading of Jinxed, Carol resides in New York City.
